Spicy Honeydew Margarita
Relationships require so much compromise and unfortunately divorce for me seems to require so much more. Thankfully tequila and I have been in a committed relationship for over twenty years. Yes, we’ve had our ups and downs. We’ve been in many arguments both publicly and behind closed doors, but all in all we’ve withstood the test of time. And the best thing about him is I can take him anywhere; he blends well with just about anything. This spicy honeydew margarita is my owed to self end of summer cocktail. It’s the perfect arm candy when throwing a party for one or twenty. Just blend up some of that leftover frozen melon you saved after making my Honeydew Cucumber Gazpacho, and enjoy!
Recipe
Time: 5 mins, Servings: 2
Ingredients
1/2 honeydew melon, cut into chunks and frozen
1/2-1 jalapeno, seeded
1 lime
Tequila
Instructions
Combine the frozen honeydew, jalapeño (start with half and add more if more spice desired), the juice of one lime and one to two shots of tequila to a blender and blend until smooth. Make any necessary adjustments depending on your taste.
Run a slice of lime around the rims of two glasses and dip into salt to create salt rims. Pour frozen margarita into glasses and enjoy!
